It isn’t weird.
He’s ruined 6 attacks by taking too long on the ball or refusing simple passes.
It’s supposed to be a team game.

The striking thing is that on that break there was the potential of an early bending ball into Hugo and there was not a single person in the stadium, not least Hugo, who expected it though
No but yes, I prefer to see Isak and Ekitike, but Cody does seem somewhat of a poacher centrally.
Bradley’s yellow card, probably means he’ll have to be subbed before he gets a second one.
Every single one needs to step up, everyone.
No push, Just meh.
Guess that means macca coming in soon!
I agree , but at least he is always looking at goal, ekitike is not playing well, and isak tends to have concrete boots…play gakpo there and we’d be 2-0 by now
Opponents give the worst footballer the most space, as they can do the least harm.
When even Michael Owen is saying all Gakpo does is cut on to his right foot, tells you there may be an issue.
Having said that, wouldn’t surprise me to see Cody scoring. Whatever his faults in the build up, he does have a knack of poaching a goal.
Our bench looks full of joy.
Gomez on the bench (my preference), but I reckon Slot will put on Alexis and shift Curtis to right back.
That would be my move. I think we know what’s coming.
I wouldn’t be adverse to just putting Ngumoha on. If the reason why we didn’t replace Diaz was this kid, then it might be a good idea to play him at some point?
Did you learn this on the PlayStation?
Probably, I don’t think Gomez is fit. But then, when is he?
Half time report: not great, but also not bad considering the wider context of a team that is struggling and fighting to get a foothold to climb back up.
What was good to see was that we matched the effort and energy of Leeds. They put a lot into that half, but we matched their work rate. That’s a basic prerequisite, but in too many games we have been out hustled, so let’s note that it hasn’t happened today and we go in with a clean sheet at half time.
Curtis Jones had a good half and that was a nice change for a Mac Allister who is below his best. Jones has tried to do something positive with it, and his shot was very good and unlucky to come back off the bar.
Van Dijk and Konate win a lot of headers, Van Dijk in particular, which is good, as DCL is a handful, and so are their central defenders when they push up. Van Dijk headed one narrowly over the bar and perhaps should have scored, but there was also a clash of heads which probably put him off a bit.
It wasn’t great, but they are the main decent things I can think of. The second half will show us if that first half gave us a platform to go on and win the points. If that is to happen, we need to see more from the attack.
Gakpo has had a couple of easy overlaps to roll it to Kerkez, but he is programmed to cut inside all the time and it is starting to grate. Ekitike hasn’t been too good and he needs to keep his hands down and stop pushing players and giving away free kicks. Bradley got a stupid yellow right on the half too. I thought he won the ball, but he tackled from behind and also took the man out and in so doing, he invited a yellow. It was ten yards inside the Leeds half and the context didn’t warrant that sort of risky lunge. Still, I’m not piling in on him, as it is a fine line between the heroic tackle we saw on Mbappe, and the yellow he got today.
Second half, here we go. Come on!
exactly!!

I think Jones has made a decent case that he should be above Mac in to be pecking order.
Hugoooooooo
Thanks Rodon.
Lovely stuff Hugo!
