Pre-match: Leeds v Liverpool, Monday 17th April, 20:00

It also gives us the opportunity to give game time to fringe players- at least during the group stage.

It doesn’t make a “big” financial difference, it’s pocket change.

But unlike the other shambles of a competition I actually value the EL as proper silverware.

“Whatever gets the job done and the 3 points”

Lol this is what you said, how contradictory

I really don’t understand why VAR weren’t allowed to look at that first goal…if they did how could they give it?

Even without the goal it was a handball.

My thought is that after it hit his tucked in elbow there was more play, a couple of passes, before the goal. It did not go directly from handball to goal.

Had it gone from elbow to Gakpo to goal, it would have definitely been ruled out.

So, happy to have it given, but a bit of a soft one.

They did look at it

In my mind, it’s a 50-50. The hands is unintentional, and Trent’s movement is natural imo. I understand that you could come to another conclusion, but it most certainly wasn’t a clear error from the ref, so VAR didn’t intervene.

(… for once, they got it right, the fuckers!)

For just qualification, maybe, but if we back ourselves to win it, it’s something like a good 30 mil in total.

Maybe not “big” actually, but you see what I mean - that’s a third of a Bellingham right there

Just don’t concede any stupid early second half goals redmen.

ball would have hit Trent anyways, arm position changed nothing.

Any streams anyone?

This new shape helps Robbo, they get fuck all joy down his side. He’s much quicker blocking crosses as well.

It wasn’t though…it looks like he moves it towards the ball…but who knows any more

Not even 1/333th of Jude.

Fuck sake.

Cunts don’t listen

Oh fucks sake Ibou.

Donkey on ice

Damn you! :yum:
