Pre Match - Leicester v Liverpool - 20th April 2025 (Away) - 4.30pm - PL Match Day 33

I’d rather they beat or lose to Ipswich as at least if we won this they wouldn’t hand us the title without us playing. Mins you they could lose to Palace instead :see_no_evil_monkey:

Even if it’s GD going into the Spurs game we still get that chance to win it.

Well the obvious question to you is, how do their turds flush?

 yeah his last season in 82-83. We basically stopped playing in March after getting KOed of the European Cup. We wrapped up the league a week or two later then lost 5 of our last 7, drawing the other 2 and still won the title by 10 points

Well for a football player Steptoe is getting on a bit however he is still relatively young, lean, mean looking chappie. He keeps fit as his longevity accounts however I am sure his diet isn’t as well balanced as mine so I don’t think he produces bullets, just ordinary sinkers.
You did ask. :plunger:

2020 we won title officially by not playing when Chelsea beat City didn’t bother me in the slightest.

Doing it in front of the fans is great, but I thought the scenes at the BBQ were great as well.

Yeah I don’t care too much when and where we secure it, the soonest possible is always the best. We’ll be celebrating on that day and the final day regardless, wherever we are!

What’s the deal with when the trophy presentation begins? Will the trophy be moved to the King Power if Ipswich beat Arsenal earlier in the day?

It’d feel a bit weird winning it, then having to wait until the final day for the lift, I don’t have a good enough memory to recall the exact dates.

Say we won it this weekend, could we like put in a special request to the league to lift it against Spurs?

I think the trophy lift is on the final day, whenever the title is secured. Maybe if the last game is an away one, a request could be put to lift it in the final home game?

In 2022-23 the title was officially sealed for city when Arsenal dropped points. City had 3 games remaining that season and the ceremony was done at their immediate next game. That was their last home game with their final 2 coming away from home though so maybe that played into the decision of exactly when it was done, but it at least shows they wont automatically wait until the last game of the season to do it.

Considering our last game is at home and it sits on a bank holiday. That might be factored in for any title win and trophy parade

Won’t we be playing the U10s by then ?

League all wrapped up

@Sweeting said they were shit, it’s got to be the U9s instead.

Me either. But it’d been 30 years, there’d been talk of voiding the league and grounds were empty. At that point I’d have taken it any way it came.

Now I feel like we’re owed the chance to win it in front of our own fans. The let off of all let offs having been denied that proper moment last time.
