Thought he has retired

Nice first half 2 goals from Jones only two from my other favorite Gakpo :see_no_evil::scream::joy:

Weather the first ten minutes after HT and we should be home and dry.

We’re streets ahead of them. Cracking first half.

Laser eyes on this guy boring straight into Jurgen…

Shame we were not this dominant all season.

Just don’t let ‘em score as I hate that 2-1 change of momentum finish.

A win is a win but seeing a chance to close the GD on Newcastle.

Cmon boys…do not give this away…turn the screw

Newcastle are going to slap these up when they play unfortunately.

I think someone on this board laughed at the idea Jones could be better than Mount.

Edit: My mistake, it was Carvalho.

“Average Jones have a lucky break in the team because of injuries to other players and having a lucky burst of form which is going to be temporary because he is average at best, now our cheapo owners will use this as an excuse not to buy Jude and spend 60m on Mount”

Writing the first draft for some of us here later on…

Will this end 0-3?

Very impressed with Jones so far.

Not that I don’t normally rate him, but he’s really standing out, even without the goals.

That is what I have always been hoping to see from Jones, end product, which is what he had coming through the youth ranks.

Keep it up, as we all love seeing the players making it, you have all the talent and now it seems that you are finally flourishing and long may it continue.

Could save us a fortune in the transfer market!

Two new midfielder, Trent and Jones, the third will be Mc Allister this summer?

I honestly think they realized midway they were looking at the wrong phase if play.

HT 0-2:

An enjoyable game for us so far. After a committed start from both sides, Leicester fell apart as soon as the first, beautiful collective goal was scored. The second was a wonderful individual control and shot from Jones. The lad is growing, isn’t he? Tonight, he manages to be in the right place at the right moment, and his technical skill and awareness on show is impressive to be honest.

Hopefully the lads can stay focused, keep Leicester away from their goal as they have done until now. And if we can add a goal or two, it will be all the better! Fingers crossed! :+1:
