Well done Allison!
So relieved , Steptoe Vardy missed those shots

I was just about to say we’ve played much better without really creating good chances but at least we looked up for it. They’ve had 3 great chances for Vardy and you would expect him to put a couple of them away.

Thiago has not been at his best since joining us. He needs to up his game he has been giving the ball away most of the time.

I don’t really remember how many FKs Trent has scored but I wouldn’t really class him as a specialist.

I vaguely remember him scoring maybe 5 FKs in 4 years?

When will we score a goal from open play again?

Our midfield has the wrong balance which is still worrying. I wonder should Klopp take the defensive gamble by taking off Jones for Nat Phillips so that Hendo can go and solidify the midfield with Gini, allowing Thiago to go forward more?

Anyone gonna talk about how many times Thiago lost possession for us? Been defending him since he arrived but his performance in the first half is kinda shocking imo

Front 3 leaving us down a bit today so far. Allison been fantastic at sweeper role and has done well when needed. I fear that they will score a break away if we don’t score soon. We have completely dominated possession. Just can’t play the final ball and we are taking too long on the chances.

For some reason, I think thiago puts off the rhythm of the whole team, disappointingly. When milner came off, our pressing has been all over the place and they found it easy to bypass our midfield.

even with all that possession, how many on target?? its the same way its gone all season. we flatter to deceive… Leceister city had more dangerous chances with their limited possession

Isn’t that what some people on here would have you believe though?

Okay, now we are a bit lucky that Leicester shoots straight at Allison. He did very well in making himself big of course our Allison, so credit to him. But in truth if one is objective one must confess that Leicester have had the far greater and more dangerous chances and that we have had a slight rub of the green going into the break 0-0.

Even so, what I saw from us for 25 minutes was great ! We couldn’t sustain it, we failed to create very lethal chances, but we created dangerous moments where people like Salah or Mane could have made a big chance and scored, so we were going places. It was also good to see our will to win duels and second ball, crucial for our period of dominance in the game.

But yeah, in the end, despite us playing well for 20-25 minutes, we must count ourselves slightly lucky as Leicester were able to create a lot of danger in what was, credit to them, not much time. It is a worry that so much time goes between each moment where we are able to create a chance and so little to where Leicester is able to create a chance, but Leicester in something akin to form is maybe England’s best counter attacking team after all.

Very similar to the Anfield match thus far, except no goals. Let’s see if Leicester have to change Johnny Evans out. Could provide an opportunity for us to exploit. No Fofana on the bench, either.
