Well, on the balance of that first half we are going to have to wait a bit longer before we see a recovery to winning ways. I just hope that the casualties can get back soon. Setting aside our problems at the back, this team just do not look threatening

Thiago needs a chance. He was thrown in at the deep end, he never had a chance to bed in the rhythm of the team, plus he was injured for a long time.

Thiago has come into a new club, into a new country in the middle of a pandemic and was injured for 3-4 months.
This is still basically his pre season

An excellent start to the game, with Lecicester struggling to get away from their own box. Henderson with some glorious direct balls into both wide players.
Leicester with 2/3 chances starting just from lumped balls forward, which is a bit concerning. Henderson intercepting hte ball well, but for the Vardy header, he allowed Vardy to be picked up by Andy, who was on the wroing side. That’s the little times where his inexperience as a CB shows.
Shame we couldn;t get that opening goal. A better tocuch here and there and would’ve been a goal up. Need to look for the first goal, as you just know a sucker punch will come the longer hte game remains goaless.
Ndidi fouling at will, and no card means he can keep breaking up promising counters. SAdio has made some nice dribbles, and Mo in good positions. Will just need them to click once and we’ll beat them.

We did everything right first half but score. Ali did make a great save. Second half we need to finish our chances.

Agree but people are right to point out that he has been shite so far and he is taking too long on the ball. The Hollywood passes are great but lets not forget that we won the league without them. He needs to find a way to fit into how we play.

Having Milner come off disrupted our rhythm after bright start. I expect slight tweaks from Klopp and we’ll be on top first 15 after break, need to get one earlyish.
Looks like Thiago, and several other players to be honest, are trying just a little too hard with the ball, with one extra touch or move. Funny thing, it’s not the 20 year old.
