I agree with that. We were bad, that was the biggest problem. Not incisive enough to create against the low block. Wirtz had a poor game too, after doing well for a few weeks, and he was brought in to help us unlock defenses like that. Ekitike fairly peripheral too.
Turgid at best.

Not great but decent first half and then completely failed to replicate that in the second, let alone build from it.
We somehow got worse with the subs and seemed to get rattled a bit when Jerry went into RB. We rode that for about 5 mins and settled down, but settled into a state of nothingness.
We were average, we had no sense of urgency. We were snails moving in the soil. Leeds parked the bus on the half way line.
I do not understand why we are always so late to the 2nd ball after our defenders headed the ball. Our mid fields just stood around and wait for the balls to drop to their feet?
I agree with that too. Frimpong did well and offered a threat down the right.

Perhaps they were managing his minutes, but I wouldn’t have subbed Frimpong.
We’re lacking speed and the ability to dominate in 1v1 situations in wide areas.
That’s what creates gaps in a low block

Not perfect but we were the better side and ultimately deserved another fine margin win, but it’s another point on the board and now 3 clear
of Chelsea. We would’ve absolutely taken that 2 months ago.
Frimpong was fantastic.

I think this is why I’d like to see Adeyemi brought in this month. Pace to burn. Helps us get behind the opposition. This neat and tidy football we are playing, mostly side to side, is all in front of their defence and not threatening enough.
