I’m slowly losing the will to live having to watch this turgid shite week after week. If Slot’s still here next season then a miracle will have occurred in the interim.
Wirtz was really poor today, and I think if he shows his usual quality we win comfortably. That is supposed to be his game.
the problem now is being too dependent on a young player still trying to find his feet
Imagine being an Arsenal fan and not only having to watch that shite, but having to pretend you like it because your top.
Most of our best stuff still went through him. Loose touches and over complication meant a lot of it came to nothing nothing, but explains why it went so drab after he went off
Ironic as it sounds given our summer spending, the squad has gaps in crucial areas. Part injuries, part loss of form.
But I think they need to get aggressive in this window. The team needs help…
Adeyemi would be a good option even if just on loan..
The irony being we supposedly had to go through this rut because that is just the natural consequences of making as many changes as we did (which we had no agency in).
We need a CB because we’re desperately short there, but I don’t see any player coming in anywhere else who fixes what is wrong with this side right now. More to the point if I was a talented in demand player it’d be difficult to convince me Liverpool was the right for me given how lost we’ve looked this year.
The manager also needs to be bolder.
Was unwilling to commit players in the box from midfield.
He’s so concerned about the opposition counters that we’re not getting anywhere close to our level in the final third.
Without movement in the final third or pace and 1v1 ability in the wide areas, you can’t break down a low block. And we’re not good at setpieces.
We aren’t Arsenal fans so other than the usual deflecting whats that got to do with us.
Deflecting
I couldn’t give a shit about that.
What it’s got to do with us is talking about turgid shit. Most of the teams in the league are playing turgid shit, mate. You aren’t getting a rum deal in the regard by supporting Liverpool.
