I think we’ve been much more unlucky with our chances tonight than they have been last week, that’s my main decider on who’s been better overall. Plus the shit ref and the offside goal today, but that’s a bonus.

He has had a lot of so-so performances with a surprising number of goals, but fundamentally the club appears to be betting that the goals will disappear rather than his performances returning to what they were a few years ago. Tonight, he was not at the level he needs to be.
