Easy: become Man U.
They don’t have any defenders or midfielders.

No
Where did he say Fabinho can’t make it?
He also didn’t say Hendo couldn’t make it, I’m saying it sounded more positive as someone were painting which had 8 players out long term at one point.
Yep.
We need to have 5 players in every position and then loan half them out.
Hendo and Robbo didn’t train with the team yet. Late decision.
Sadio is good.
Fabinho will train today.
Interesting how he said about Hendo and Robbo not training yet, but saying that Fabinho will train today.
We’ll see if Hendo and Robbo can at least make the bench. I expect a place for Phillips on the bench instead of Gomez, almost surely Morton on the bench and possibly Gordon as well.
Like I said, with the sensitive situation in midfield, I could see us prepare the flip to 4-2-3-1 either from the start or more probable at some point in the game, though of course, very much depending on how we’re doing in terms of performance and result. A more alternative option could be Trent into midfield with Neco at RB, but probably not (yet).
You’d hope Fabinho can play a normal (and better than his last one) game, that Thiago with extra training time can have a stable game and then we’ll see with Ox how he does. Can he stay in CM or we switch the structure, take him off or move him to a wider position and bring on someone in a good moment like Minamino.
Goalkeepers: Alisson, Kelleher, Adrian, Karius, Pitaluga

Forwards: Salah, Mane, Jota, Origi, Minamino, Gordon, Musialowski
Liverpool squad training today.
So Fab isn’t back in training today?
Oh, well then… hopefully Morton and the two remaining senior midfielders will be up for it. Fingers crossed.
Klopp said in his presser that Fabinho will train today.
Yeah I know, but RedOpium made a list with the players involved today, and there is no Fabinho?
Don’t know where he got that from, maybe it was yesterday’s list.
Still no pics from today’s training obviously.
Cannot wait to smash these kents…
Fuck this week…
(Tim Paine sent me a picture of his erection…not cool)
Did I read somewhere when we bought him that Konate could play as a defensive midfielder? Not sure if I am just wanting to remember that, given the current midfield situation!
I could see us go 4-2-3-1 for this.
Or if we go with 4-3-3 it seems one of the three midfielders will be a departure from the norm.
Morton to play in midfield? Might be too much to ask at this stage, especially if other leaders aren’t there to coax him through. Trent to play in midfield? Might make sense, with Neco at right back. Mind you, we will miss an attacking threat from Trent from the flank, and I couldn’t bear to listen to Gareth Southgate say ‘even Liverpool played Trent in midfield.’ Or then again, maybe someone like Konate, with a Gandalf-style remit for the defensive midfield, “You shall not pass.”
It will be interesting to see what the injuries will be come match day, and also how we deal with it.
I’m predicting a good win for the mighty reds. We have been sloppy and dropped points we shouldn’t have. Still there or thereabouts, and everything to play for, but we could do with a good win.
I’ll wait til I see the photos of training, some people just like to be right…
Worse players have played against a better Arsenal than this one though… Damien Plessis made his debut against the 2008 edition Arsenal.
Oh dear
Even if we add Fabinho, it’s rather slim picking. I guess Fabinho, Thiago, and Ox would be the starters.
It is slim, but we also have other solutions, like using Minamino between the lines and flip to a double-six, etc. The good news is that we might have Millie and Keita back in group training next week. Hopefully we have enough to get through this game and win of course. I only hope if it’s Ox and Thiago as the two #8’s, that Thiago plays on the left.
Didn’t Klopp mention why Fabinho was not in training this morning in his press conference?
Training is after the press-conference.
Doesn’t matter who plays. We should be winning this. Arsenal were never as bad as some people were making out but if we can’t win tomorrow it’s hard to make a serious case for us winning the title. Not after dropping points against Brighton and West Ham. We need to get a run going now. Late kick off under the lights. Should be a good atmosphere. Looking forward to it.
