He should definitely have featured more as we’ve been in similar situation for a while now, but either he’s not doing enough in training or Klopp isn’t convinced him to do what’s expected even from the bench. It cannot be that he couldn’t have impacted any of our games other than the cup games he featured in.
A lot of over confidence in the forum again.
Just get the 3 points and preferably don’t concede.
That will do nicely.
What’s our highest ever win against Arsenal? Think we’re going to rival that here.
Easy day at the office. Sit back and enjoy.
Two 5-0’s, one away in 1893 and one at home in 1964.
I’ve still got nightmares about that game to be honest, cynical…
Glorious
Well thats working out really well
So, I suppose with the Chavs getting 3 more points today, it creates a “must win” for our side?
We could do with a boot up the bottom…coz every game should be a must win…
Yes we are short in midifled. But we must not be sorry for ourselves. The players on the pitch, whoever they are, must be 100%. Arseanl are on a run of good form, and have several young players with high energy. We can bypass that by keeping our heads and using experience.
Ali in goal, Tsimi plays very much like Andy’s long lost twin, and imagine haing to defend against a rampant Salah, coupled with Jita nad Mane.
Not all doom and gloom. Klopp has been very candid about the sloppy counter attack goals we have conceded, so I imagine a lot of the traning has been to make sure everyine knows what they need to be doing.
Got a feeling Ox will retuen to haunt the Gooners.
Finally…
Woah, nothing wrong with that team but that bench. That said, we’ve had another injury nightmare this season but we can manage to field a team like that. Pretty fucking ninja of you ask me.
Midfield not very mobile
Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Tsimitas, Thiago, Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah, Jota, Mane.
Subs: Kelleher, Konate, Beck, Bradley, Phillips, Morton, Henderson, Minamino, Gordon.
Is Div injured?
That bench yikes
Like the team, glad Fab was able to make it. Hendo on bench so that’s useful. Nice to see Thiago, he should do particularly well against an Arsenal midfield, and I think he and Ox will make a good combination.
Timmy instead of Robbo makes a lot of sense even if you take injury out of the conversation.
A bench of 4 youth players and a 5th choice CB says a lot about our injury situation.
International duty.
