I think there is a fairly easy solution to this problem of letting two goal leads slip, score three. Do that tonight and we should be ok. :crossed_fingers:

I prefer it when we score 5, much less stressful during the last ten minutes of a game.

Just to be clear, we can have a laugh at the face rub and owl references!

Yeah, could be key tonight. Simeone touched on it as well.

Porto 1-0 up already

Grujic with the goal.

Surely a Milan win is best for us ? I know we’re sitting pretty atm but things can change quickly. If we lose tonight and Porto win then the group suddenly becomes quite tight.

Assist.

The other issue to deal with if we get a 2 or 3 goal lead, is their dirty tactics. They’ll deliberately want to injure our players out of frustration. This game is going to be extremely nervy.

On the live score app he was down as the scorer it’s changed now.

We know exactly what to expect from Atletico, we’ve seen all their dirty, cheating games before. I just hope the referee tonight, is upto the job.
The crowd need to get their act together also, after Saturday.

It feels good that we can probably even afford to lose this and still advance securely. Not that I think we will, we ought to show that the second half against Brighton was carelessness and overconfidence and not relevant to our actual form.

My guess is an edgy game, where we end up winning 3-1 or 3-2. I just think we have 3 goals in us today, which is purely a feeling of course. But Atletico is solid and cohesive so we must play well and we must certainly be alert and up for it in both halves.

Good game everyone ! :metal:

Also, BrĂŒgge, while I know it’s a bit much to ask, would be nice if you played one of your best games ever tonight.

Jones doesn’t make the squad. Strange.

Still, I like the lineup, like the rotation and think we’ll batter these fucking shithouses.

Wow, Jones not even on bench, injured or just needs dropping? Glad for Timmy, about time with Robbo blowing more cold than hot. I like the side, Jota for Bobby as well, good decision.

Since when are TIA breaking the XI before the official site?

Matt got hold of the UEFA piece of paper or something.
