PRE MATCH: Liverpool v Leicester City (EPL - Sunday, 22 November at 7:15pm)

I think Rodgers will use the same tactics he used against Citeh, which proved to be devastating.

The only place we have reasonable depth right now is attack. I think we’ll go 4231, bringing in Origi or Minamino as the fourth body. Or maybe Shaq off the right, where he has been effective in the past.

By the way, I think Hendo and Robbo will be OK for this, and there is a bit of Brendan baiting going on

Henderson was named on the bench for England last night. So I dont understand this injury that now precludes him, arising from the Belgium game, and think @Mascot could be right on this.

I’ve just read that Neco has a knock?

A lot of people leaving Wijnaldum out of the line ups, am I missing something? If he’s fit he plays as far as I can see.

I thought there had been reporting that Henderson and another player were released from the England squad a few days ago?

Edit: perhaps you saw Dean Henderson on the subs list?

If Phillips plays LCB, that will be mouthwatering from Leicester’s perspective.

We’ll know more tomorrow when Klopp speaks, but this will be tactically very demanding.

Massive wankfest going in abut Rodgers in this Kelly and Wrighty show thing. He’s the messiah for young players, he’s made Vardy more efficient, he’s created all his teams in his image etc etc. Good grief.

They aren’t giving us much of a chance this Sunday, one would thing Leicester are the best team in all time with an all conquering manager at the helm.

He played 90 mins yesterday, 64 mins on Sunday, and 45 mins last Wednesday. If may be fit, but like so many others, might be getting close to the red before he tweaks a muscle.

Suspect he will play if Hendo is out.

Yeah, you’re right I think I saw Henderson the keeper the other week and had to adjust, but forgot.

Not worth risking anyone in a game we’re probably going to struggle in. If Fabinho makes it I’d be tempted to play him at right-back, move Milner into midfield and rest Gini. Play Tsimikas and give Robbo a rest. Same for Wednesday against Atalanta, especially if we drop points on Sunday. Just rest every cunt and try and be as strong as possible for Brighton.
Just heard Paul Joyce reckons Trent will miss at least another 3 weeks. good news just keeps on coming.

Fair. Gini’s made of strong stuff though, he can handle it.

Honestly feels like some people, including a few on here are righting us off for this game! Pull yourselves together!

That happens at times even when we are at our strongest and best of forms, so kind of expected the mood to be a bit gloomy given the circumstances. Wait till you see Keita, Minamino and Gini in the same line up :upside_down_face:
