Pre Match: Liverpool v. Manchester United, 2000 BST (UTC +1), Tuesday 19 April 2022 (Premier League)

Against Norwich, he was their main asset, and an important reason why the red mancs got away with three points. Without him and at least two key saves, it would have been a straight defeat for them.

So, let’s hope that he has his worldie game of the season behind him now.

Just watched the highlights of the match earlier in the season and then some Goldbridge ‘best bits’. I’m hoping for another helping of Goldbridge meltdown please.

There’s this possibility that the United players might consider this match as their CL, FA Cup, League Cup, and League finals combined into one. Because frankly, it’s actually like that, for them.

Sky Sports News did their usual Combined XI poll. Outcome this time is spot on I say.

That’s absolutely atrocious I still think Matip is our second best centre back

The SSN article also sets out a stats based version of it. The outcome is somewhat funny;

Konate out, Matip in - fair enough I agree with that forsure.

Hendo out, Fred in - no words

Thiago out, Fernandes in - Lol

I don’t like seeing everyone being so cocky and expecting a 5-0 easy stroll. When we were taking all before us, we always seemed to do badly against United. I will be reserving the hubris till after the game .

I’m not and many are saying a win and no injuries will do and I am of the same mind, I remember taking Leicester for granted.

Man Utd are shit now but they are still our biggest rivals. Treat them and everton as such with that respect and pick up 6 points with a ton of goals.

With Slabhead in front of him, he could have 3 worldies and it would still make no difference

Yeah , lets have the cockiness once and if city slip up and we win the league.

Till then one game at a time , if we smash the opponents in the process… All the better.

Win this match and we will be ahead of city even if they have a game in hand. Pressure does things to people and city might crumble against brighton

Same here. Any kind of win will do me.

Usually also seems to correlate with the amount of whining in the in-match thread…

Which is why I don’t care how, I just want the 3 points with no injuries (or red cards). Can be a nervy 1-0 win or a 11-0 demolition, doesn’t matter.

and lets not forget, Brighton have just beaten Arsenal and Tottenham in their last 2 games, so will be a team that is generating momentum and confidence

The death of an infant is not a subject for banter. Let’s not go there again.

It wasn’t banter, I was being serious but you’re right it was over the top of me.

Its probably a good thing that this game against coty was a rescheduled game. Brighton were in a horrible rut of form when this game was initially planned to happen.

Matip was the PL player of the month in March. Hes still ahead of Konate for me but then i suppose Klopp is saving matip for bigger battles and other teams.
