LEAVE HIM ALONE.

Seriously though, I don’t mind have a pop him for the footy, but this whole St Marcus thing is just a reaction to him trying to stop kids going hungry. I don’t like that.

Give it a rest. It’s just a bit of sarcasm. The kid done good and all. I don’t think St Marcus will be crying himself to sleep in his multi million pound mansion or while driving his flash car or wearing his designer clothes.

If sorting out the world’s problems was as easy as a few free school dinners everyone would be doing it.

I just like watching him run rings round the government. Don’t care he plays for United. I loved their confusion when trying to placate him with an MBE didn’t work.

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Joel Matip will not be available to face Man Utd. The defender has developed a severe allergic reaction to Bubble Wrap, and will likely miss seven games.

He didn’t develop it, he caught the new more virulent form of the disease from Keita.

If Matip trained , I’m assuming that he plays.

My assumptions however are invariably wrong.

Klopp said before that session yesterday that he expects Matip to train yesterday and/or today. But those sessions might come too late and they might not be as intense as some earlier in the week. From his words, he said “I don’t know”, but my feeling from the way he said it was that he thinks he probably won’t make it.

God. Such an opportunity wasted by Klopp in the pre-matcher. When asked about Clattenburg’s comments, ideal comment would have been:

“Clattenburg reveals there was bias for United during a period he was a referee? There’s your headline right there”. Cue Klopp grin from ear to ear showing his pearly whites. That would have put the story almost immediately back on Clattenburg.

Did love his " we would never talk about diving in training. Ever." Giving the middle finger to the likes of Poch and Mou.

I’d lay the blame with Shearer, Lineker & co on MotD with their “winning penalties” and “entitled to go down” dialogue. You do not win penalties; you are awarded them if a foul occurs in the penalty area. You are not entitled to go down; if knocked off balance, gravity wins. Also, when they claim certain players go down too easily they are typically the ones who have been kicked or impeded multiple times beforehand.

In truth, it’s the blind bastard refs who are to blame because they can’t see a foul unless the player goes down like a sack of spuds.
