Shaq Left, Mane in the middle, Salah right. Whoever doesn’t have to start at CB plays in the middle and the flying wingbacks will tear them to pieces. 3-0 to the mighty Liverpool and we roar to the title
Oh, entirely. I actually thought he looked vaguely concussed against Southampton but Long Covid makes more sense. I’m assuming that the medical team will have checked for cardiovascular symptoms but neural and cognitive effects are trickier. At least he has age on his side. Hopefully, he will pick up soon.
He also has the luxury of knowing that his team will probably be awarded a penalty, dodgy or otherwise.
Fixed it for you.
If Klopp goes with Henderson and Fabinho as our centre halfs I expect this lineup.
That’s the team I’m expecting.
Anyone who thought Matip would be back for this are living in cloud-cuckoo land.
Would be completely unsurprised if they bullshit a jammy win. Just getting that out of the way.
That said, with them going top last night, we are undeniably the wounded animal. And, thinking about it from an opponent’s point of view, I’d rather not have to face us when we’re angry.
I’m seriously against Henderson as CB. He is 50% of he is in midfield.
Rhys/Nat alongside Fabinho in CB with Henderson in midfield is better than Henderson partnering Fabinho. Basically we weaken two positions playing Henderson in CB.
Hmm maybe Jones in for Milner.
Pleasantly surprised that the PL didn’t appoint one of the usual suspects in Taylor, Atkinson, Marriner or Friend to screw us over. Maybe they’re saving them for the away matches to the top sides.
IMO we need Hendo in midfield, even if it means playing Williams or Phillips at centre back. Not sure if tactically we could use Fab in the CB channel that Rashford plays in and switch the CBs over, but that’s for the management to sort.
I don’t think we can use Jones in midfield as well as Williams/Philiips, we’ll need to dominate midfield and press their defence to cut supply lines.
Alisson
TAA Williams Fab Robertson
Hendo Thiago Gini
Salah Bobby Mane
The subs to be used would depend on need, depending on how it’s going, but I’d hope to see Milner or Shaqiri as the first two changes made with meaningful time left.
I really hope Shaqiri can deliver something off the bench if needed in the coming matches until Jota is back. For me one way to break sides down when Shaqiri is on the pitch, is to get the forwards to draw free kicks in the right area, and then leave it to Shaqiri’s sweet left foot.
None of the other free kick takers are really delivering right now.

Think Jurgen may well shuffle the few cards he has this W/E…
Liverpool 2 - 1 Manc Shite
This is why I feel sick for Sunday…and cause I can’t stand mancs…( my step daughter bought me a manc mouth covering for Christmas its at the back of a cupboard)
You sure it is not a Mankini…! :0)
It should be in the bin.
And the year before she bought me Fergies biography…all because I buy my grandson a LFC calendar every year…and teach him songs from the Kop…
Should not even be touched.
Keep it it the bathroom. After all, you never know when you might run out of toilet paper.
