I think some people saw the 5-0 as the true reflection of Atalanta’s ability, rather than their league and European performances over the past 2 seasons.
We’ve barely got enough players to field a team, played late on Sunday and we play again in 72 hours.

Honestly I’m frustrated here, and it started with team selection.
If we win this match, then the last 2 matches don’t matter, so we can do whatever we want. IF we lose this one, that makes it possible we have to care about both of the final 2 matches and that’s not what we need right now. We should have focused on winning this one.
Which leads me to team selection. Yes I know we have injuries, yes I know we have COVID situations… but putting out Origi along with Mane and Salah has NEVER worked and Klopp and company should know this by now. IF you’re putting out Origi, you can use 1 of Salah or Mane, but not both. If you have Mane and Salah, just put ANYONE out there other than Origi because the combination of the 3 just doesn’t work due to playing styles and the need for certain types of play to them from midfield. IF you’re not going to play Jota or Firmino with Mane and Salah, then it has to be Minamino… plain and simple. If he’s not good enough to pair with them now, then I don’t see how it ever will be.
Granted our back 4 is a complete trial by fire and it’s hard to believe there was a chance to play with this squad and not give up 1 or 2 goals and this team wasn’t put out to score 2-3 goals.
