You just called one of our players a shithouse… that’s the definition of chatting shit. Embarrassing.
What is? His endless list of niggling injuries? Broken legs, ruptured tendons, torn hamstrings take months and years to heal. Being out for a few weeks due to discomfort and picking an easy game back when the game to play was 4 days before? Really? Well, you might excuse it, not me.
You might have a point there actually. I’ll edit it as that is too harsh.
Yeah, I’m sure it’s Matip picking and choosing his games rather than, you know, being a collaborative decision between player, manager, and medical staff.
Come on, you know it has nothing to do with bravery. You are being very unreasonable. While it is true that Matip has physical issues of staying uninjured, it doesn’t have anything to do with lack of spirit or gusto. He almost always plays well when he plays and it is beyond silly to think that he was too cowardly to play Manchester United. If it’s bravery your looking for, well Burnley is less technical than Manchester United and more direct and physical. There isn’t any logic in what you wrote and it just comes across as sad and bitter. The man does his best, has chronic injury problems but he hasn’t given any of us any cause for pissing all over him like this.
When he plays he is usually one of our best, and while United had bigger chances than us, we still didn’t lose and should have won had our midfield and attackers been in good form. Also, you know you piss off a lot of supporters when you talk about our players like that, it is kind of unnecessary.
Let’s focus on tonight’s game instead !
Matip’s is clearly afraid of the big games.
You just imagined he was arguably MOTM against Barcelona and Tottenham (final). It didn’t happen.
I’m absolutely sure Klopp’s happy about it based on his opinion of DS.
His knee?
That’s Liverpool’s knee. Back in 1895 they’d have pissed on his leg and sent him back out there. Modern pampered footballers don’t know they’re born.
The truth is none of them are clinical right now. But we know the ceiling, we know it’s incredibly high. We know we are not there not, a fucking shame obviously, but it is how it is. But to get there, many players when out of form needs to play themselves into form. It may click more today, may be the next game, or worse, but I would argue that it is much more rolling the dice if you bench Mane and Salah. Because let us face it, even if they are ineffective right now, who else do we have in the category potentially potent attacker ? Origi ?
I sincerely think the best option is to just continue playing them. One of these days, the movements will align better and then it can click. And when movement clicks better, finishing has a tendency also to be more accurate.
I think it was you who told me after last game that our nervousness and inability to impose ourselves came from insecurity at the back, and I agree that it contributes. But the midfield and movement between full backs and midfield-strikers is also vital.
I would also play Bobby personally in this game, that guy can open up space with his intelligent passes. Taki has been okay, but mostly just because the others have been relatively bad. Shaqiri has been good lately, hope he starts.
Anyway, game is important and we need to win and I think we will. But if we can manage to actually play well, that is another issue entirely. Time will tell.
BREAKING

Twitter or Truth?
But not starting,fucking piss take.
Nice, was wondering if Tsimi could return for this one, since he was seen in training before United, but no word about him. We need everyone possible for the rest of the season.
Are you a sports scientist now as well?
Im waiting patiently …
Joël is back!
Bobby and Mo sitting.
Hendo out.
Origi in, does he has to be showcased? Do we want to sell him this January?
Origi starts!
