Pre-Match | Liverpool vs. Chelsea | PL Matchday 27 (29) | Thursday March 4th 20:15h | Anfield Road

Got a link to the hotmic - do you have to pay for that. Id like to give that a go.
Thanks

Nope. It’s free.

I’ve found it better to not bother with the automatic sync, and just manually line it up - Neil always does loads of time checks.

The downside is now you’ll be able to spot that all my clever thoughts and opinions in the match thread aren’t actually my own clever thoughts and opinions

Oh come on, he’s a difficult character to sus but really he’s just so over intense he just comes across as bitter all the time. When you get used to it you start understanding where he is coming from. Also he feels and reacts to pressure badly. Just nothing like our good man Klopp (which to an extent I think people expect which is silly).
Anyway I’m looking forward to his face when the wankers lose to us.

The way this season has been Werner will bag a fucking hat trick tonight just you watch

Robbo with an unstoppable shot tonight…
Well, law of averages, one has to hit the target at some point!

He couldn’t say hat trick let alone score one.

@Lowton_Red Picking up a few essentials in advance today so the bypass will be free should the Mem be desirous of cavorting at speed. Will be stopping at a farm shop on the way home though, 6lbs of offal for the hounds?

As to tonight, just fingers and toes crossed. Let’s have another comfy 2-0 win with the second coming from the vital boot of Jota. Pull 2 more points out of United and we’ll be very happy bunnies.

What are you on about?
I reckon he’s have more trouble keeping a hat on his head than I do let alone doing a trick with one, I mean what a fat head wanker. If Allison is in goal he’ll be like a rabbit hit by head lights anyway.
Btw a hat trick is 3 goals in the same match scored by the same player (I know it’s hard to remember as our lads haven’t done such a thing for such a long time) so even if he scores one (which is only likely if Adrian is in goal and Werner hits one to Adrians left hand side) he’d still be a long way from scoreing 3 and a hat trick.

N.B This is a pedantic silly post so should not be taket seriously (I should copy and paste that more often).

Watching us lately has also given me the shits. On edge every game and my stomach can only take so much. #YNWA (p.s. just to the toilet alone)

I’ve just thought it was shit.

Chelsea have the weapons to do damage to us, that’s for sure.

On reflection I think we need to use Fab in defence mostly. It does seem a bit of a waste to have top class midfielders on the bench if Fab is used in midfield with Phillips/Kabak at centre back.

The next few intense matches do run the risk of injuries given the lack of possible rotation for TAA and Robertson. You can’t really rotate them with a weakened central defence.

It’s good that we have the full suite of forwards now, but we have to hope we don’t lose more midfielders so we can rotate.

We need to be able to use three from Gini, Milner, Thiago, Jones and Keita the next few matches.

Hoping we can avoid defeat tonight, and possibly sneak a win.

I think we’ll go Fab in defence tonight. Then we can look at midfield against Fulham.

Has Jota made any changes to his fantasy football team?

I have some trepidation about losing, as our form has been poor, we are ravaged by injuries, and Chelsea are a tough nut to crack and now on the rise under Tuchel. If we lose I wouldn’t say top four has gone, but it looks that much harder. If we win, all of a sudden we can even start to think about looking as high as second, if we can get a little run going.

Classic six pointer.

I would take a draw - feels bad to say that, but we have been so off I don’t want more damage, as we are getting a couple of bodies back to help out with the run in, and I don’t want to lose any more ground. But on the other hand we are Liverpool, and we fear no one.

I wouldn’t put it past us to play one of our best games of the season and win it well.

Here’s hoping!

Can’t see Klopp changing our midfield from Sheffield United game ,so gini Thiago and Curtis for me

Curtis is excellent. In a tough season his emergence has been the real bright point so far. Play the lad against Chelsea.

Change of referee at Anfield tonight aswell - Craig Pawson has been replaced by Martin Atkinson.

As @GermanRed has chosen not to lift his proscription on my pre-match bulletin, it remains locked in virtual purdah, the rule of Omertà still applied to the House of Lowton.

Well you might ask, of Boudica and her comings and going to and fro in the earth, but you shall ask in vain; my lips are sealed. (I can however impart, for those departing Leigh through the midst of Atherton unto the shores of Lowton, that their passage shall be unencumbered by the Mem, or her harridans; please leave the offal in the usual receptacle.)

I am a man with little of the aggressor in my spiritual make-up. I believe in living and letting live. Few things are capable of ruffling me; placid is the word that springs to the lips.

However, should tonight go by way of Hard Times to Bleak House, and as Martin “fergie’s love child” (Tw)atkinson is in charge that may well be on the cards, @GermanRed will find find resentment growing within me like some shrub that has been treated with a patent fertilizer.

As Hamlet might have put it, his offence is rank and smells to heaven. And if heaven will not mete out retribution to him - and there is no sign so far of any activity in the front office, somebody else (a nod’s as good as a wink to a blind horse), will have to attend to it.

What’s done cannot be undone.

This game has all the makings of a potential banana skin for Chelsea! (well someone had to say it)

I’ll take any sort of a win for us, and I don’t care by what margin. :astonished:
