We have a very slow and tedious offensive build up these days, I miss our previous speed and tempo shifts that used to unbalance opposition. These days we try to build up so slowly with so many passes against established defence and the truth is that we are not at all scoring many goals against established defence this season at all.

How many assists/goals does Jones, Milly or Gini have? It seems an issue with our team
The issue with our team is that the 3 you’ve mentioned there rarely score and rarely assist.
Absolutely this. Our midfield. Either not capable, or not being deployed properly. I can’t figure out which it is.

Millie is on the downward slope, Gini has probably played his best games for us and is busy picking out property in Barcelona and Jones scored against Everton that one time from outside the box but in reality has done very little since.
However Origi has been dining out on winners v Everton for a long time so no reason why Jones shouldn’t either.

This season, for whatever reason, we are struggling to breakdown teams that come to defend. Unfortunately that’s what most teams come to Anfield to do.

Thanks for asking I knew you would use this. Jones 1 goal 1 assist in 15 games. Gini 2 goals and 3 assists in 25 Milly 0 goals 2 assists in 11. The difference none of these were billed as been the X factor one is 20 one is 35 too.
