We need Naby on .
He runs with the ball well .

Thiago has been shit in this match and more he’s been a liability!

I’ve called Trent and Robbo shit at times, so the statement that no one says he’s shit is false. Tell you what, if Thiago scores in the second half I’ll say I was wrong. :man_shrugging:

I actually thought he’s been ok. Salah, on the other hand has been really quiet

Yeah , had a couple of good chances stopped by Pickford but Everton likewise very dangerous and we are creating very little with a tedious and slow tempo in our offensive build up phase. I want faster transitions and actual tempo shifts in passing and runs so we can unbalance them because we dont create enough against an established Everton and we likely won’t in the second half either.

The more genuine concern is how seem to lack enthusiasm in early stages which gives opponents a chance to settle in.

If that’s the case, surely the blame lies with Klopp? We have had three years now of teams parking the bus at Anfield; surely the manager should have found a solution by now?

I honestly do not know how Juergen can turn this. But if he wants to gold plate his near god like status here…now is the moment.

Ok then who would you play over him, look at todays game where does he pick up the ball mostly for us, certainly nowhere near the attacking 3rd, he has to come too deep to receive the ball and develop our play as apart fro Hendo no one has developed our play from the back.

Thiago looks like a classy player who sweeps the ball majestically either side, but at the moment we need someone who can take on and beat players, create a bit of space. None of our midfielders seem capable of this. That said, with 10 men in front it’s tough, but Citeh manage to do it.

What’s the point in putting Keita on.

That will be all our subs used after 53mins

…one word - Thiago

Well, I am afraid but none of them are really admirable technical players. None of them can pick out a defence splitting pass or even a through ball to send someone on his bike .
We still miss a player like Coutinho sadly.

Maybe a formation change with Keita for Bobby.

We move the ball at pedestrian pace, there’s no urgency. In doing so, we give them ample time to fall back.

This is rinse & repeat. Too passive. Too slow.

Philips has done okay since he came on. Just does the simple stuff.
