Pre match | Liverpool vs. Fulham | PL matchday 27 | Sunday March 7th 14:00h | Anfield

Poor planning on your part. Worked out perfect for me. Just been for a long walk to tire the dog out, wife’s on a virtual baby shower shortly and I’ve got clearance to spend the next 2 hrs probably stressing.

The good thing is that you can see this as a 4321, a 433, a 41212, a 442. We might be able to capitalise in the first 15 minutes while Fulham adjust.

It’s about time there were major changes in the line up, but of course if they don’t work out then Jurgen would probably get even more stick than if hadn’t made any changes and lost again.

If pissed off the Mrs in order to watch our lads get rolled be a relegation team.

Why do we do this?

To be told, our midfield is not the most energetic around too! So I expect the defence to be stressed over and over again. I am ok with Phillips…but Rhys has this propensity to go to the ground very early and that will fuck us up real good!

Me thinks… Those three lads will put more effort into the game than the other 8 combined will struggle to match.
Maybe that in itself is worth the gamble of playing them

To be honest, I dont think it was. The logic behind the decisions on the squad, to me at least, seem to be based on good sound logic. Lovren also had his injury issues and to be honest was guilty of the same errors that we’ve seen Kabak and Williams make. What has happened subsequently has been just simply been unprecedented at any level. I think it’s extremely difficult to appreciate the impact of 21 (is that the number now?) central defensive partnerships we’ve gone through. I brief we’ve completely lost out defense and midfield.

what I would like to see is a league table of days lost or games missed by players for each team across say the last 3-5 seasons. I’d be willing to be that we’d top that league with this years figures. Going back 5 seasons gives you an idea of the impact on an average season and allows one to see the impact this season has had on every team.

I saw a stat recently that losing about 500-600 days to injury was around par. We’re at around 1200 this year.

Thanks for that. Not unexpected numbers but absolutely horrifying at the same time.

Ben Davies was declared full fit yesterday and has been for a week, yet hasn’t he made the squad in the last 2 matches? Why did we even sign him?

Would have liked to see him over Rhys

That back four is scary

Commentary on mute.
Music of choice for the 1st half is Pantera’s ‘Vulgar Display of Power’.
2nd half music yet to be decided.
My wife singing on some damn app - God life can’t get any worse - oh, wait…

Here’s hoping for 3pts.
I don’t watch MOTD anymore!
I don’t look at the table!

I’m in limbo…

About time Bobby is dropped.
Don’t expect much today. Shocking team.

Keita , Bobby, ox have just 10 games to prove themselves.

Yeah…I was wondering if we actually could have spent that money on thiago to find a defender who will end up replacing matip in the near future?

WOW… a lot of us have been asking for a Plan B. Well we’ve got it now. Personally I’m for the “ Everything on the Champions League camp” Lost the last five at Anfield so another one is not the end of the world.

Thankfully my missus just accepts the I will want to watch footy, so much so the fixtures are on our Google calendars and things (usually) get planned around it. Her old man and brother and uncle are big reds so she’s used to it

I have a few mates with kids that say the same re. Ending up falling out with their wives to watch the shit reds right now. Akin to shooting yourself in the foot then feeling the need to scoop your eyeballs out with a rusty spoon watching them of late.
