It’s not always a good thing to go 2-0 up. The words of John Motson.

Good half started very well had a shaky 5 minutes then we scored 2 great goals.

Rio said he wants Ballon D’or, keep this up and the World will sit up and notice, just remember the defensive side of the game is also important.

The most dangerous lead (particularly for us)…

Oh, I think we can do that.

Rio should be kept in the team for the majority of games until the end of the season, he can’t be ignored for much longer. Still got a lot of discipline to learn as he does get caught every now and again trying to hold the ball up but he gives us a different dimension in attack to anyone else in the squad.

Two great goals, now let’s keep it tight at the back.

He set the tone by making himself available and wanting the ball.

Play Rio against Everton and they’ll kick him off the park.

The issue is the Isak-Ekitike thing can prevent his development. None of these guys can really be benched.

I’ve watched Rio’s goal 15 times now.

Like they are right now?

No, when they are fully healthy.

Playing Rio on the left means playing a front three, which means you have to sacrifice one of them since neither Isak nor Ekitike can play off the right.

Any player can be benched if someone else is performing, only ego’s cause problems

They won’t all be fully healthy all the time. We actually need more options on the wings

We need competition for places, most important thing in a team IMO

Mo has still got it, don’t give a shit what anyone says.

  1. He’ll have to get used to that at some point

  2. It would help if some of our lads would kick them back.

No one bats an eyelid about Lamine Yamal getting regular football at Barcelona at 17. Why not just commit to Ngumoha, at least for the rest of this season? Everytime he plays he shows he is capable at this level.

He’s got the finish, for sure. But he hasn’t got the ability to dominate a left back. He needs to trust himself more to take it first time more often.
