Tempo in midfield could potentially be an issue, as there are a couple there who like to hold onto the ball.
I think first goal in this one will be massive. We score it, and they have a mountain to climb, and the tie is all but finished. They score the first goal and it is game on. A fast start seems likely, and at that point we need to be on the right side of that.
We have plenty of talent starting to win the game, and plenty on the bench to come on and change it, as needed.
The last few weeks I have loved looking at the bench as the depth is better than I’ve ever known. To be a completely greedy pig, let’s add a world class durable midfielder in summer too! But that can wait for another day and another thread.

We don’t need to chase the game in fact Jones on Saturday wisely instead of trying something went to the corner flag in the dying minutes.
I expect we will have the possession this game and Inter will press I can’t see the same match as the San Siro if I’m honest the crowd was on them, this time the crowd is against hence Klopp trying to create that bank of sound for us.

But you need either Milner or Hendo to tell him to do that. There’s no Hendo or Milner on the pitch.

World class durable midfielder… world class, or with a great chance of getting there if younger. Durable… don’t mean to have a pop at Naby, as he has all the talent you like, but unfortunately hasn’t translated it to the pitch for us, enough times.
Anyway, changing subject to what Mascot is saying:
You might have point with Jones and Thiago. Jones is talented and should have a big future. Maybe Klopp is saying, “learn from Thiago, a bit more like that please” and we are witnessing career development in action, on our pitch.

They make look to get Dumfries more involved attacking wise down Robbo’s side…he usually is a very capable influence for Inter in attack.
