Don’t know the actual rules for a red but for me it’s not a collision because Mo was running directly in front, not as if he run across him. Looked similar to the Digne challenge but obviously nowhere near the recklessness or danger to the opponent. But if a player is clean through and the player directly behind trips him then it’s not a collision. It’s a deliberate trip in my opinion. Whether it’s a red well as I said, not sure on the official rules.
I don’t think the player intended to bring Salah down at all, just was running so close that when Salah did that little change up, his leading foot went onto to Salah instead of ground. Clear foul, but nothing that merits a sending off to me.
