What gives you hope his wastefulness will improve hes been here 18 months now and in the Premier league has 14 goals from 148 shots at goal. Still looks as like to miss as he did when he arrived.

Liverpoolās 18 shots is their most in the first half of a Premier League game since April 2016 v Everton. They led that one 2-0 at the break.
Only once on record (since 2003-04) have they had more in the opening 45 minutes of a game in the competition without scoring (20 v Leicester in December 2015).

This is another example of pure bias against us by the ref.
Absolutely disgraceful.
Byrne pulls Salah all game, Joelinton has three bookable fouls in a row, yet Diaz and Trent end up with yellow cards.
The usual @Walshy07 bollox about Nunezā¦he is causing Newcastle loads of problems.
But we have to have a fall guy.
Keep the heads, bit more quality and we win this.

On Szob, he has been exceptional at closing down, pressing and bursting beyond their midfield. But his passing is off and something I donāt understand as that was one of his best attributes coming to us and early season, bizarre

The goalie did a good save, left foot out. Nunez should have scored, but the goalie saved it, heās having a MOTM sort of day so far.
Donāt get me wrong, Iām frustrated too, as we should be ahead, but Nunez isnāt stinking the place up. He has had a few shots, on target, and been unlucky not to score so far.

To be fair, weāve been extremely wasteful. Refs so biased they gave us a penalty which we should be scoring.
If we lose this, then Nunez needs a while on the bench to sort himself. Not good enough for the price paid.

Thereās something to how we play against ātopā sides this season. We have over 65% possession, we waste chances, and we look most likely to score when we donāt have the ball.

Weāve got the better bench. 0-0 at 65 minutes is nothing to panic about.
Newcastle shouldāve picked up more cards (Joelinton) to make them under more pressure, but it is what it is.
If Klopp decides Jota/Gakpo for a midifled player, that could allow Newcastle to break easier.
