Should have gone with Jota instead of Gini or atleast Curtis or the Ox. I’m not impressed with that midfield tbh
Jones is injured and isn’t even on the bench. Ox has played about 5 minutes in the past 6 months.
I understand the reservations about the selection, but I understand where Klopp’s head is as well. They are very weak at the back with the injuries they have and should be able to be got at regardless and so a focus on keeping tight and better engaging them in the midfield area makes sense, even if uninspiring.
Well that’s shit, I’ll watch anyway. Mane needs to have a good game, Gini needs to wake the fuck up, and Firmino needs to be on top of his game. Glad we have Milner as captain, as I said before, the most important decision for this game was if it was going to be Captain Monster Milner or Captain Meek Gini.
We should be able to tell in the first 10 minutes if it’s going to work. It’s nice to have some options on the bench if needed.
