Pre Match | Liverpool vs Real Madrid | CL Quarter Final second leg | Wednesday April 14th 20:00h | Anfield

It is sad, but there is Zero to minimal creativity in that midfield.Hope I end up apologizing for this.

We will need to rely on madrid making mistakes instead.

Wear them out and swaps at 60.

The biggest mistake they made was pissing us off in the first leg.

Quite an attacking line up that from Madrid, they are looking to grab that all important away goal

Thiago on the bench seems odd, however we are probably planning to bring him on to control the game at 3-0.

A Thiago/Shaq/Jota masterclass? Bring it on

Heā€™s been shit too in fairness.

The knowledge that the Mem has obviously not disseminated to your good self is of course that her unicorns are actually Japanese and aquatic in origin and so of the genus Eumecichthys. As long as theyā€™re continually immersed in salt water with a salinity of 35 parts per thousand, their fire breathing tendencies are quite naturally quenched. I did specify sapient pearwood in the construction of the watery stables so they may have come back to Castle St Luke with a rather more esoteric vocabulary and possibly the capacity for telepathy and growing 1000 legs in order to charge through buildings without hindrance. Their telepathic powers might explain your usual ramblings however nothing could justify a supplication for a merger 2-0 victory. 4 of the best trousers down to the mighty men in red and nothing less! Otherwise the hypergolic fluids that I nefariously drained from said Japanese unicorns (we all need a hobby) will be used to flame grill effigies of the starting 11 Real players every St Swithenā€™s day at Lane Head for the next 530 years. This will require passing the task onto my heirs but then I have a lot of fluid.

4-0 and number 7 will do nicely.
Had a chat with a mate earlier, would anybody now take losing the final and finishing 5th? Not for me but it would be excitingā€¦

BTW @Lowton_Red I dropped the sprouts off with gate 4ā€™s keeper, he smelt vaguely of roast beef monster munch, thought youā€™d like to know.

Donā€™t like this lineup Wijnaldum in and Jota out

I guess itā€™s an OK lineup. Would have preferred Thiago over Wijnaldum, but Klopp probably wants some muscle in the early part of the game.

Iā€™d have started Jota but then Iā€™m not a Championā€™s League and Premier League winning manager. A Bobby masterclass would be epic. Remember the no-look finish? Imagine him knocking number 5 in with his hands over his eyes. Piss take wound up to 11 and weā€™d love it!

Not half as shit as Gini thoughā€¦ Bad call by Klopp, Gini was our worst player in the first leg.

Feels like heā€™s gone too safe again.

Fingers crossed big performances from those heā€™s put faith in who have been terrible recentlyā€¦ Mane, Gini etc.

Criticising line ups before the game has even started is a sure fire way to make yourself look silly, but I canā€™t say I was happy to see that 11.

A few odd choices, hopefully the likes of Mane and Wijnaldum repay Kloppā€™s faith.

Haha aye, if Thiago had been selected and then got his customary yellow in the first 5 mins Iā€™d be giving Klopp pelters

I want to get hold of some of whatever youā€™re smoking. this shit must even mess up @Scott.Jones

Some odd decisions in that line up, only decent one is Milner in.

Maybe itā€™s all a ā€˜cunning planā€™.

Happy with the line up.

Thiago comes on to pick the lock. Midfield 3 run themselves I got ye ground until then

UP THE FUCKING REDS.

Letā€™s do this!!

You can bet 1000000% Milner lays a big tackle on someone like Kroos in the first 5mins. His inclusion for that alone is worth it.

I want to see Robbo pulling off Modricā€™s headband and flicking it back at him after 60mins in an act of glorious snide bastardy as we lead 3-0.

More or less what I expected apart from Mane for Jota. Itā€™s a line up that will hopefully contain Real early on with plenty of decent bench options if we get into a position where we can go for it later. Milner is in there for leadership. There was none of that last week. Gini is maybe lucky based on his recent performances but JK loves him and heā€™s a big game player. Thiago just hasnā€™t done enough to get a start and can be a liability with his tackling. Theyā€™ll take any opportunity they can to go down, waste time and try and get players booked. Donā€™t want to be giving them any help with that.

Letā€™s hope we can get a first half goal for once. If we can take the lead itā€™s game on.
