Pity that all the good shots are from far. Mo has had a few off target, Mane blocked and missed a peach of an opportunity (jumped too soon). We playing ok I guess, definitely not giving them any opportunities, but we need to open them up more. Naby could help at some stage, for Fab or Hendo (not that either are playing badly).

Maybe as per Everton game we go 4 up top, however, that may stop us dominating midfield and winning the ball high.
The thing is, everybody knew these are the tactics Villarreal would use. No surprise at all.

Absolutely dominated them without really looking like scoring. Two good chances for Salah spurned. They defend well and we need some concerted pressure to force the mistakes. Get Naby on for Hendo.
Disagree Hendo has helped set the press and caused them to lose possesion in their 3rd.
