Simply outplayed in the first half. Only consolation is that its only 2-1. Got to play faster and harder in the 2nd half. A loss would be bad. A draw not the worst thing in the world but the performance has to be alot better.

Thats true. For all their play we shouldve been 2-2 if Jota didnt want all day on the ball in 6 yard box.
City are shit at the back but weve been worse and our midfield non existent.

Completely outplayed by a fantastic team. Our rhythm and shape severely lacking, second to most balls and duels.
We are quite luck to be only 1 down.
But, magic often happens in the break. I hope we will see another version of Liverpool in the next half. If we do that, there is still time for a truly good result. Will be overjoyed with victory, but also happy with a draw. City is playing their best footie and then a draw is a good result.
Let us hope for a new shape and better rhythm !!!

exactly this…once we break thru that initial press, they are easily exposed at the back, but breaking that first phase is proving easier said than done

Mo is hardly in the game .
Individual mistakes being compounded by the next player in the same phase of play making the wrong decision. Case in point that first goal. Excellent save by Ali but then we could’ve cleared it three times before the goal.
Only a goal behind so still all to play for.
We should be 2 or 3 down , so it could be worse 
Klopp will read the riot act and we’ll see a new team in the second half

I will get Hendo, Mane off for Keita and Diaz. Diaz can take on a man!
Hendo bar for one steal of the ball has been anonymous defensively and Mane is just so different now on the wings that he is not that direct threat anymore …
If we are adventurous, we switch to a 4231. Hendo off for Diaz.

I call it reality, it’s not like it’s the glass half full/empty scenario, it’s been very bad and we are lucky not to be more down (there’s some positivity).

So…what needs doing guys? I’m only able to follow it on the radio. It sounds like we’re lacking control in midfield, they’re getting at our backline too easily.
What can we do about that? Milner? Keita?
Do we need more threat in behind with Diaz?
Klopp has to totally let them know that they are playing below their level
