The players that can be added to the B list at the eleventh hour before a game still have to fulfill the requirements regarding how much of their young lives have been in Liverpoolâs youth system and they have to be fit. Unfortunately quite a few of the eligible young players arenât.

What is List B?
A player may be registered on List B if he is born on, or after, 1 January 1999 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday (players aged 16 may be submitted if they have been registered with the club for the previous two years). Clubs are entitled to register an unlimited number of players on List B during the season, but the list must be submitted by no later than 24:00CET the day before a match.

My daughter has moments of quite frightening lucidity. When she was about 6 she announced that she was scared of Lions. When we asked why she told us that spiders and snakes canât really hurt her but a lion could munch her in a few bites. Sensible reasoning. I try to hide my âARRRGGGBHHHHHHâ when I see a house spider.

In a perverse way, picking Adrian would be seen a massive increase in status of Kelleher. To go from untried kid to player important enough that he gets break for a meaningless CL game in the space of 2 weeks is amazing.

Tough game to be excited about. A few new faces would be nice to add some interest - Clarkson, Cain and Koumetio the most likely - but I donât think Klopp is going to do it.

I was really looking forward to sitting back and watching the boys, without going through 90 minutes of wincing at every tackle, in case of another injury.
So I am a bit concerned at reading that some regular first choice players might play tonight.
What do I know, but IMO the domestic cups are one thing, as youâre always looking to progress to the next round, but this match has absolutely nothing riding on it.
For me, Matip, Fab, Robertson, Hendo, Gini, Salah, Mane, Bobby and Jota wouldnât be anywhere near it.
Yes we donât want a drubbing, but players who need fitness and experience should form a decent enough 11.
Origi, Minimino, Keita and Kostas should start, with TAA and Oxlade possibly from the bench.

Agree with everything youâve said aside from having Curtis Jones starting - he could do with a rest too and had an injury concern at the weekend
