Scrappy team Klopp has selected. Might not be a bad idea, I expect Newcastle to go very defensive. And we donā€™t need to win the game in the first half. Control their counter attacks, play our game, see if we need something extra from the bench in the second half.

Gomez for Trent. Good change. Joe has done well, Trent needs a breather. Joeā€™s pace will be useful against St Max too.

Matip for Konate, understandable. 50-50 those two.

Salah rested. He has looked like he needed it. Lots of international football. Backed to play coming back. Rested and fresher for run in.
