He still pulled through in the second leg, didnā€™t he? (Without meaning to take anything away from your achievement mate :stuck_out_tongue: )

Tora Tora Tora for this game - score more than they do - throw caution to the wind and smash the Bastards.

No way that Gini doesnā€™t start

Yeah, weā€™ll need a good Gini tomorrow. What Modric is doing at the age of 35 is fantastic, what a player. In Kiev he was more up against Kroos, but tomorrow heā€™ll be on the opposite #8.

Benzemaā€™s got a sore back from carrying this Real team single handedly. Iā€™d get Nat to dig a cheeky elbow (or even a knee if possible) in there while contesting for a header somewhere near the half way line. See how they deal without their talisman. Taste of their own medicine and all thatā€¦ Pity Ramos wonā€™t be there to cop a nice head butt from Nat while attacking a Liverpool corner. Fuck Real Madrid.

Would love to see Nat score one. The real slab head in the league. Not the one that misses from 2 yards out over in Manchester

I too would just like to add the following insight

FUCK REAL MADRID

Bring on ya Internazionaleā€¦

Which of the front 3 is dropped for jota then?

Mane?

Just realised that the game wonā€™t take place at Bernabeu, but at their training ground. A good idea thisā€¦ why always play games in 50-80k stadia when there is nobody around anyway?

Thatā€™s maybe an idea for LFC. Our team would possibly perform better at ā€˜homeā€™ if they played on a training ground at Melwood instead of inside an empty, and thus disheartening Anfield.

For this game, I suppose that Klopp will go with his go-to team, before ringing some changes for the next game against Villa. Iā€™d include Jota from the start if heā€™s fit enough. In a 433, taking the place of Firmino among the front three. In a 4231, Bobby could play too in the number ten role, just like during the last thirty minutes against Arsenal. For the rest, go with the same players, bar Gini, whose energy will be needed in midfield. Heā€™ll probably replace Millie in the starting line-up. Some defensive stability has now finally been found, and with Jota and Salah, we have two forward players on fire. ManĆ© is always one for the big occasions.

Madrid remain of course big favourites for this tie, but that outsider role might suit us like a glove. Hopefully our lads will score goals without conceding too many. Itā€™s the away game, go for it!

The difference to Madrid training complex to ours is that they basically train at a mini stadium. Think it holds a couple of thousand fans even and would be more like a conference/league 2 stadium that just a training pitch.

Games at our place would look ridiculous with training pitches in the background.

Think they are only doing it because they are having their ground developed and worked on.
