Adrian in goal dear god no.
I am okay with this. Gini isn’t staying but has been a great servant to the Liverbird
I will be watching this match tomorrow for certain. It’s going to be a big test for a depleted squad, hope our front 3 remain healthy for a few months
We already have enough problems this season don‘t need to start another one about who has to be 4th choice captain and who should not.
In 2018 Klopp confirmed that he picked Henderson and Milner as his captains and he allowed the squad to vote who should be 3rd and 4th. The team picked Virgil and Gini.
I repeat, I have no issues with it. It’s just a little bit funny, nothing else. Emre Can wasn’t captain or as important as Gini, but he also acted and played the best he could, I didn’t feel he had his contract running out. That’s the only thing I can expect (or hope for) from a player in their situation.
I am still convinced to this day that Adrian kicking that ball to the Atletico Madrid player that night at Anfield, was the starting point of our spiralling downturn in form…!
It was as though he sucked the wind completely out of our ‘mentality monster’ confidence, and it took our good form with it.
Not interested in remembering any good games he may have had for us…
The blame for our recent demise, I put squarely on his shoulders!
Harsh, who cares, the quicker he leaves our club the better
Like Abou ben Adhem, a man who loved his fellow men, I always strive, when I can, to spread sweetness and light. There have been several complaints about it.
Consequently, in deference to the fiat of @GermanRed, my normal pre match bulletin is proscribed, including all mention of the Boudica and her sacrificial practices.
We were already thinking of giving it all up as according to some chap called Einstein, who sounds foreign to me but then who am I to judge, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.
So the winds of change were already blowing, but now we can lay all the blame firmly at the feet of @GermanRed if it all goes lark pies to Cranchesterford.
No longer one of whom we have such pleasant memories, he will become persona non grata, or as the Mem prefers to put it with a cold haughtiness like that of a princess reluctantly compelled to give her attention to the dregs of the underworld, “fair game”.
And given that the match ref is Jon Moss we are buggered anyway, with the blades nailed on to get at least two penalties.
Kismet Hardy, kismet.
This game has all the makings of a potential banana skin for Sheffield! (well someone had to say it)
I’ll take any sort of a win for us, and I don’t care by what margin.
Except he never said that.
I had to take a week’s sabattical from football after the derby and if we fail to win here then I might extend it to include all our remaining league fixtures.
Anything other than three points means we can kiss goodbye to Champion’s League football next year. (Hendo’s injury probably finished any slim hope we might have had of pulling off the miracle of winning it again this year.)
If that isn’t enough incentive for the boys to put in a performance today , then we truly are fucked.
Nearly fifty years of following the Reds , and I can’t ever remember feeling this pissed off about how a season has panned out.
Roll on September when the real LFC can take to the field once more.
If Alisson doesn’t really play, then that’s entirely understandable. I don’t understand why Adrian would be in goal. Kelleher has been on the bench in the last few games.
Maybe it influenced him, the little issue he had.
Hate the way this information is getting leaked because of some Fantasy game stupidity. This is not right. I thought this was anonymous. But I’d have talks with the players for sure, maybe hand some bans.
Same boat mate. There never has been a season like this to remember. Insane bad luck from the off. The funny thing is the cheats who’ve shafted us all season to create a title-race needn’t have bothered because our injuries have well and truly come home to roost, although it might be argued at the end of the season they’ll have cost us a top 4 spot so it’ll be job well done and they can all give themselves a big pat on the back when they go off on their season-end jolly to shag Thai brasses.
Just want it over and not really arsed what happens between now and season’s end. The only thing I’m clinging onto is the hope JK and the lads come back next season with a burning sense of resentment and a desire to settle scores, but I’m even starting to doubt that now given our passive acceptance of all the shite decisions and tepid display in the derby. These fella’s are far too nice, the biggest challenge this club faces moving forward isn’t getting players back fit and at pre-injury levels nor is it getting a load of new faces in because the squad is still top quality, the biggest challenge will be standing up to the fucking cheats who are being allowed to destroy what the manager has built over the last 5 years. They have to be exposed and stopped.
I still blame the 8 clear cut chances the front 3 blew as the reason we lost that game.
Maybe the reason why Robbo took Alisson out of his fantasy team was because he didn’t feel it was right to leave him there given what has happened.
Although I don’t really understand why footballers are allowed fantasy teams at all. It seems ethically wrong.
It seems ethically wrong.

Totally agree…
Only a matter of time… if a goalkeeper or defender allows a soft goal to happen from a forward they have in their fantasy team… that the toxic media will put a slant on it in a similar way betting on games or match fixing is viewed
1 AM KO Seriously
If you don’t like it, emigrate.
If he plays Adrian ahead of Kelleher then sadly he seems he learnt nothing.
Odd to see him as the substitute goalie for the last few weeks, thought it might be some kind of contract obligation but it’s ever since that Brighton game.
Anyhow hopefully it’s just an option rumour, I can see why Alison wouldn’t play, can’t see why Adrian would in front of Kelleher mind.
