i will be honest… i dont know weather im more impressed by our boys or disappointed with how spurs have approached the game… i mean come on, we down on our luck, void of confidence and u only press us for the first 2 minutes of the game… damn!!
That was some real fuck-up defensively. Lloris and Dier both thought the other was gonna deal with it , and just left it for Bobby to roll in.
Our luck just changed lads !

Before the goal I was gonna say Bobby was having an odd game. His off the ball work has played a large role in the chances/half chances we’ve created. His on the ball work has been poor and hindered us. Then he scored. Happy days

I feel a load slip off my chest 
HT 0-1:
Apart from the conversion/chance rate, this has been a really excellent half from our lads, against a good Tottenham team. Many of our players look sharper tonight: Trent, Bobby, Mané… Matip and Hendo coming into the team gives us more stability, as expected.
What I liked is the never-say-die from our forwards this time. Their moves didn’t work? No matter, they tried again, and again, and again. And finally, it worked with a brilliant move in the 45+3th minute. Bobby scores our first league goal in 2021.
Still lucky to get away with Son’s disallowed goal though, and the game isn’t over by any means. But there are really positive signs throughout the team, so hopefully the lads can build on that for the second half, and take the three points home tonight. Fingers crossed!

HT 0-1
A goal on the stroke of HT is the medicine we needed. Otherwise that Mane miss in the opening minutes would be brining back memories of Origi miss the Prem game prior.
Mane was a willing runner nd dribbler in this game, which is what we needed. Had a few shots, but of course also had some wtf moments, such as twice misplacing a free kick and giving the ball away. Nice take down for the goal, and the almost fluffed cross was a blessing as the bounce in it evaded the defenders. Bobby, who switched to the right to allow Mo in the middlw for hte last 20 mins or so, with a simple finish.
At the other end, we of course look vulnerable to Son’s pace. Got lucky with the offside (though by the rules it was offside, I personally don’t like those offside calls to any team). You just know that some more of these situations will come int he second half.
Gini playing as the 6, with THiago on the right further forward. We have played really well. Let’s do good game management for the next half. Thiago on a yellow so needs to be careful. Doherty prevents a counter, but no yellow card. Of course not.
