Well, half time and all Hell broke loose. Not so much the goal as the beer. I opened a bottle of Mönchshof Hell and it hit the ceiling just as my wife said, “that’s the one the dog knocked over.”
Anyway, 1:0 at half time and, I think, deserved. Let’s see if we can defend this one.

What a great half of football. Absolutely brilliant. Think we’ve shaded it, but Spurs are really unlucky on the Son goal. One of the ones we’ve been the victim of, when you think ‘for fucks sake, it’s level’.

The attitude has been good so hopefully the goal will give us that bit of confidence that will make us a bit sharper .Just not quite together yet but getting there.

Excellent half of football, good quality on show. Mane had a few looks and should have scored, but then we got the all important breakthrough on the stroke of halftime. Excellent pass Mane… ball wouldn’t come down so he jabbed it across to Bobby, making sure it beat Dier and Loris, and Bobby tucked an easy one away.
They are still very dangerous, and the diagonal to Son is their main weapon. Mind you, we are pretty dangerous ourselves, and if they come out a bit more hopefully we can punish them further.
So far so good. Proud of them for the battle they are showing.
