Pre Match: Union St Gauloises Away - Thursday 14th December 17.45 GMT, 18.45 CET, 04.45 AEDT

No appearance for Tom Hill tonight  #KloppOut

McManaman chatters and chunners nonsense constantly - he is like a guy who has pulled a couple of corks and drank the contents before getting behind the mic

Klopp looks thrilled Bielsa style.

I honestly thought we’d make light work of this tonight. Bit of a kick about, few beers, plane home, done. But no, we’ve been cockslapped so far

Better 2nd half performance, Grav has made a difference

Let’s hope the Arabs don’t make us an offer for Mo that we can’t refuse in January. We need time to find and bed in a new goal scorer. With Jota out we would struggle with what we have left.
Staggering to think that we are Top of the League and exposed in this way.

I find it harder to believe there is an offer we would accept.

Yep…but still

Quansah easily our best player today

Antwerp beat a much more experienced Barcelona last night - Union are 11pts above Antwerp.

This is a long way from a side we might see in a PL match. I’d like to see them pull this out, but this is an ideal match for young players to learn a little from a loss.

Think we’ve played well second half.

Agreed but I was reflecting on our first team squad…not the game tonight. Sorry if I didn’t make that clear.

Give him an U11 game then…

I wouldn’t have put him on…just saying

Quansah is a beast, glad he’s playing so well especially after I gave him the big build up this summer.

Bradley had a few nice actions, especially second half.

McConnell had a very good late cameo.

We were a bit overrun first half, still question marks about the potential offside on the first goal because UEFA don’t show us the image they used to make a decision.

Second half we played pretty well, young players looked a bit more settled.

No injuries it seems, happy days.

Not disappointed at all. Don’t care about the result anyway.

Glad that nobody got injured and youngsters got some valuable experience.

Do you think our younger players gained anything from that game?

If it’s a yes, I’d say that was a good result.

That they need to play quicker and become stronger. They can play a bit but they need those things too.

No matter what’s at stake, no matter which team was fielded, no matter what competition

Losing sucks
