This game was valuable if nor nothing else Kadie Gordon getting the monkey of his back of getting back to fitness enough to play another first team game. Fingers crossed he can put his head down now and focus on getting back to proper full fitness with the reserve side.

To brag a little, I remember lobbying for Quansah over Koumetio about 3/4 years ago!
Quansah looked very stable in an unstable side!
All the “senior” players were poor and the youth lads were average.
Would have liked Doak to show up more. But was impressed by Bradley removing from a 0/10 first half well.

Quansah actually looked decent like he was a senior member of the side, and some senior members didn’t.
Very difficult as Klopp said to judge but he was the stand out if anyone was, though I did drop off at points 
Endo does blow hot and cold and Bradley as you say was awful first half but decent second, wonder if Gomez helped that as it felt there was a lot less coming that way second half.

One of many reasons why I don’t like twitter - shortening his comments to this quote make him sound pretty calous. There was no “exclamation” in his voice when he said it was his objective to get ahead of Matip, it was a matter of fact statement.
