Agreed. He’s not even at PL levels and if he is, not LFC. He scored big goals, wonderful. He’s fucking mailing it in right now. His last “attempt” at an aerial duel I literally laughed out loud. Harsh? Too fucking bad.

Origi has been far better than Shaqiri. If there’s one of them that’s the problem today it’s not Origi.
The game is too quick for Shaq when starting.

I think it is more the massive disappointment after the Tottenham game. Many probably thought that the Tottenham game could be the start of better form and not a blip. After all, last season, without 5 clear starters, we would still have been overwhelming favorites to win by a couple of goal.
But we are not in form and some players are not good enough.
But I agree that this is far from the worst this season. But yeah, I think it is the post-Tottenham effect, people started to hope again. Reality is a cruel master.

Phillips been very good when called upon.A bit more pace and he’d be perfect although well worth a look at him next to Virgil when he returns.

Well, about as expected with a patched up side. Neat and tidy enough, but lacking incision. Hopefully we will find that bit of quality as they tire late on, maybe even Bobby coming in to nab the winner?

It’s like Origi needs about 3 seconds every time he gets the ball - they don’t give you that time at this level. If he gets a chance in position, he can put it away. But his movement off the ball is terrible, he takes too much time on the ball and he doesn’t even press well. It’s not all his fault but Christ, you would think there would be some more urgency in him to take his chance.

Tough for Salah and Origi because Ogbonna is playing so well and they’re a little bit isolated, but they have done okay on ocassion. We need more runs from midfield. Shaqiri doesn’t want to move from his spot. Not good enough.
