Greater Manchester is an enormous area that includes lots of towns and population centres such as Rochdale, Wigan and Stockport. Its significantly larger than just the city of Manchester.

What a great day today promises to be.
I currently have the cold from hell. Could be a flu but small graces is I’ve tested negative for Covid.
I then get the pleasure of watching a Welsh side with 9 changes, new coach and absolutely no attacking shape play England before I get the further pleasure of watching us vs Palace.
Considering the start to the day the early signs are not positive,
But does not include any of Yorkshire and I guarantee the people in towns like Bolton, Bury, Wigan etc do not consider themselves to be Mancunians in any way. It is just an administrative area but all those towns have a Lancashire identity and certainly no loyalty to Manchester.
Plus Wigan is geographically closer to Liverpool than Manchester.

Yeah that was my point, his place of birth saying Greater Manchester doesn’t mean he has any affliation or affection for Manchester based clubs.

Wiki generalisation at his finest. But generally people dont know. I live on the south coast and from the North. The crazy fucks here think the north is anything north of the Watford Gap

I doubt he will get a game before his loan ends. Some serious inquest is required into our medical department in summer.
So many injuries…I can’t believe the state of Ramsay. That kid played nearly every game in Scotland and has been injured since been here.

1 of my family in that extended area (Leigh,Bolton, Wigan) is a Man Utd fan and I always had no issue as a kid wearing my Liverpool top around there.
