Sorry! That is still not an excuse. We have a big enough squad to rotate players if they were tired.
I remember our team had worse schedules than this season. During Jürgen’s tenure, he had to manage a depleted squad. Remember Jürgen often used the kids when half the squad were out due to injury issues or needing resting. Jürgen won us a trophy at Wembley playing the kids.
Arne needs to manage the squad better.

It occurred to me after this game that I’d be more confident about this team going into an away game at Bayern Munich than I’d be for an away game at Burnley.
I’m starting to think that there’s a false arrogance to this team. And it began for me with that diabolical back heel by Szobo.
