Yup, somehow I can already see Brighton outmuscling us all over the pitch.
I was thinking a midfield of Fab, Hendo and Keita would be better to just do the basics of winning their battles.
Itâs already been pointed out by a few people, that Thiago is actually winning more battles that Hendo and Fab, so Iâm clearly wrong in that initial assumption.
As long as we start Keita, who I think has been excellent in his sub appearances, I donât really mind who the other two are.
Not sure I would describe Keita as excellent in those games. Still gave the ball away a lot. But certainly offered something different. I would start him over Fab. Canât be any worse really
Thiago is criminally underrated defensively, even at 80% of his capabilities.
That said, he does do stupid things sometimes, a bit overagressive (or on the ball, inaccurate). He improved it since the second part of 20/21.
But really sometimes it sounds like weâre playing Isco/Ozil in midfield. Something Didi Hamann or John Barnes would say that he âslows the game downâ.
I put it down to not having enough of that type of player enough in years and decades.

D. England is the bloke who fucked us at Arsenal as VAR
SmashâŚ
Ahh, some other time.
Not looking forward to this one if Iâm honest⌠but maybe our lads will surprise us, who knows? Hope dies last.
Problem these days compared to recent seasonsâŚ
Every team thinks they have the beating of us and they are going for our throatâŚ
Our mighty battleship might be listing a tad, but we are still way above the water line

Looks like an early leak for the line up
Not seen Swarbrick in a while, didnât England give us something the game after Iâm sure I joked that he had woken up this week.
Anyhow unless we improve remarkably itâs again not going matter.
Could do without Nunez missing to be frankly honest. Though minor with us is usually anything that sorts itself within days.
Especially without Firmino back, hopefully he is close I guess Klopp will be able to tell us how minor it is tomorrow.
If Nunez is missing then we might have to shift to 4-4-2 and partner Gakpo up top with Salah.
But weâll know more tomorrow when Klopp speaks.
From whom?
@_ChrisBascombe: Liverpool have been dealt a further injury blow with Darwin Nunez a doubt for this weekendâs trip to Brighton.
Liverpool are not specifying the nature of the injury at this stage, but insist it is only âminorâ and have not ruled the 23-year-old out yet.
Thanks
As minor as Firmino was who is already out since ChristmasâŚ
Gakpo and Mo Salah up front.
Only forwards we have left standing.
I sometimes wonder whether our training sessions involve a shin kicking competition.
