I’d very much love for us to steamroll the rest of the season, finishing on 90+ points would set a nice little marker to everyone else ahead of next season. More than anything, the team owes Mo two goals and two assists for a 30/20 season.

Of course, winning this one and especially the one against Arsenal would be excellent, but the players will be mentally checked out, not to mention hungover.
Would love to be proven wrong, but I don’t see us getting any points. Just hope that we don’t lose heavily.
I will be really surprised if there aren’t lots of changes for this one. I can’t believe that the usual starters are going to be that interested now. No-one will want to spend the summer on a treatment table… Chelsea will be up for it no doubt but our main guys should be kept out of the firing line and wrapped in cotton wool.
Job done. Nothing to be gained.

I mean yes I’d like to see him play, but I believe that’s not how winners’ medals work now? I thought it was a blanket distribution to clubs who then get to decide how to distribute them?

True re the numbers and discretion across the wider group but I thought the players still needed to play 5 games.
That aside, you would expect some player turnover for the remaining 4 matches including Chiesa.

I would like to see it, but I’m a bit more sceptical as to how much there will be. I think Salah will be chasing 30+20 but Chiesa will probably sill get at least one appearance to get him a medal.
I think Chiesa and Jaroš are pretty much the only players who could still get one but don’t qualify for it yet. I’m not sure Jaroš will get it, but it would be pretty cruel on Chiesa to not get it I guess.

One certainly will not wish to read/hear the media pundits (as they so often do over here) bemoan “they lost their last 4…which doesn’t bode well for the coming season”.

If you play 5 games you automatically qualify for one of the supplied 40 medals the club can purchase extra if required i believe Leicester did this to ensure everyone got one.
Not too bothered about Chiesa getting to 5 appearances
He probably will.
But I do hope he’s given sizable minutes to see if he can do a job in the central role too. I don’t think he’ll do a bad job if he can fill in on the CF role too as backup for the next season
He hasn’t exactly been disappointing whenever he’s on the pitch for us. And there’s a player in there.
Salah will want to beat more records so that’s one lad.
They may be off for this one but I reckon they will be back at it after that.
