They lost only 1 game at home this season in all competitions.
Nyoni, much like Morrison, is reaching the point where U21 football is too easy. Yesterday he played 45 minutes, got himself another two assists both by stealing the ball high up the pitch and playing the right pass.
Liverpool travelling squad: Gomez, Van Dijk, Konate, Kerkez, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Salah, Jones, Gakpo, Ekitike, Mamardashvili, Robertson, Woodman, Frimpong, Gravenberch, Nyoni, Nallo, Morrison, Ngumoha, Misciur.
We had to take him off against Galatasaray when we played them in September ![]()
Come on you plucking Reds!
The most important match of the season.
Come on letās do better than last time against these ones.
@sweeting I really like the look of Nyoni, seems an intelligent footballer, is it just a strength/physical issue with why he isnāt featuring as much
Nyoni is in the travelling squad
Hereās hoping that we get a different ref, from the guy who officiated the meeting between these two teams earlier in the competition. That was one of the worst, one sided referring that Iāve ever seen.
ClƩment Turpin. Seemingly the most notorious robber since Dick Turpin. Maybe they are related?
Our head to head against them is 1-2-2.
Yes, I know, but he hasnāt been used, just asking why, to the person who has a more indepth knowledge of our youth players than me.
Perfect timing
Yeah I like him too very intelligent, hard to get the ball off him, wins it back in the press very well. Iām sure physicality is a big reason he hasnāt featured but hopefully he gets a bit of a chance. He and Morrison are a big reason the U21s are suddenly thumping everyone.
Thank you, that s my assessment of him and what I have seen or heard of Morrison, but havenāt seen much of our youth this year just highlights
I was referring more to Paul Gorstās analysis

Splinters in his arse again?
