Tactically, that half was a pasting, especially the first half hour. Villa grew into it a bit from a couple moments of loose play. Very solid and fluid from us.

In a way it’s good that it’s 2-0. We tend to take our foot off the gas at 3-0 and concede. We’ll start the second half sharply, get one or two and job done (I hope!)

So far we’ve played well, with just a few slip ups by us leading to Villa chances.
Has been an enjoyable first half watch though.

That was an incredible half of football, we’ve made a really tricky game (on paper at least) seem relatively comfortable.
Villa’s sightings have only really come from us losing the ball.
I don’t think they touched the ball more than 5 times after 30mins.

A couple of sloppy moments, but generally very good. The midfield is only going to get better which is a pleasant prospect.

Would like to add to the lead, but it’s more important that we don’t do anything stupid and let them back into the game.
