The key for us in possession is patience and especially the movement and passing between the lines.
Without the ball its the speed of the recovery into our set defensive shape. That’s not happening as quickly as it should be. Especially on the right side of the team.

We play a strange type of football. Make ten passes from our own box walking to the half way line then turn around and pass it back to our own box and hopefully not drop a bollock and give it to the opposition. What the fuck do they practice in training. Very very fortunate to reach half time winning by two goals after giving Palace plenty of opportunities to score.

Yeah it’s a strange experience watching us. It feels petulant being pissy about leading 2-0 at half time, but this is a nothing performance. And the concern is Slot is going to feel vindicated by the lead. But the problem is this a sort of football that is never going to win you enough games to get any higher than where we are now.
