Sloppy throughout. Didnt play well enough to deserve it.
Thats this season over i feel. Im usually hopefull, but to lose two home games at this point in the seasonā¦just cant see a way back, form wise.
Cant see Arsenal or City slipping up badly enough whereby we somehow end up top of the league.
Hate the term bottled, but thats whats happened.
Might as well go for it next Thursday now.

I really donāt understand this statement, and Iām as frustrated as anyone.
Would Arsenal three games ago say letās aim for top 4?
We try and keep a pressure, thereās not anything else to think or do. Pick ourselves up and try to win the next game, as if our lives depend on it, regardless of what happened this week.

I agree, we were getting good results with such a depleted team, the ones which came back have not had enough time to get some consistency within the team.

We were never gonna get away with constantly starting slow and giving up the first goal, never. Becomes a mountain to climb even if weāre āsupposed to still win from any predicamentā, itās not realistic, never has been.
& we almost gave us a 2nd before we had our first big chance when Robbo cleared off the line.

You cant keep conceding first and expect to win as eventually youll get caught out.

Jones and Mo both had 2 easier chances and Jota had one. Hell, endoās was probably easier as well.
The fact you even have to ask is an illustration of how lazy a reflex it is
It wasnāt to beš¢ get those games when things donāt go for you whatever you do. Considering a lot of the changes weāve made this season weāve done really well. Pity it couldnāt happen for Klopp farewell but I think with the age of the squad we can look forward to things to come.

To be honest, if the new manager decides to bin off Diaz & Curtis Jones , I wouldnāt shed a tear.
Diaz has literally no shots on goal today and Curtis Jones brought on the shit memories of that 3-3 draw with crystal palace. Perhaps Jones wants to join his boyhood club, Arsenal instead?
Ran out of steam. Have done amazingly well to deal with injuries etc and still be in the title race. But now hitting a wall. Just need to now try to win the remaining games and see what happens. A combination of poor finishing, and good keeping/defending with luck as well.
And while the ref was not to blame, the time wasting on throws and goal kicks was just allowed all game. I mentioned this in the first half thread, and the ref gave just 2 minutes. 96th minute, and taking an age over about three throws in a row with no card. Then the game is still blown at 97 mins (probably the ref was tired, judging by the pouch as a belly).
