PreMatch | Liverpool vs Everton | PL Matchday 30 | Wednesday April 2nd 20:00h

I wonder whether this is a result of something we do differently or less efficiently, or whether it’s a successful tactical result from opponents…

I’m starting to give up on this game.

Now Macallister has gone off with an injury.

Thats Grav - Unsure
Alisson
And Maca

Not to mention Konate went off after being crap, this international break can ruin seasons it really shouldn’t exist.

On the bright side, Salah back in form with goal and assist, Gakpo back in form with a goal, and, what I think could be a blessing in disguise, with Gravenberch having been rather out of form comparing with the previous part of the season, now out with an injury, would allow Endo to start, solidifying our ability to not concede, which was less brick-wall-ish than previously in the season.
Will all the above lead to concede less and score more? Remains to be seen. Meanwhile…

I will be at the match. My first trip to Anfield and bucket list item checked off! I am looking for the Reds to destroy and punish these fucks after what happened at Everton. On a lighter note, I am very open to suggestion about what to do pre and post match. I want to experience it all.

I already posted a link into the Former Players Thread. It’s live and for free on YouTube.

Thanks. I probably missed it now🤦🏻‍♀️.

You can still rewatch!

Sorry I’ve been suffering from depression and Flashscore commentary didn’t outline it properly. Anyhow took a break for a day or so.

Like always when we play them I don’t see it as a ‘guaranteed’ win.

3 points the most important target but side quest is to rub the incoming League Title in their faces.

Hope we score a lot and hope we celebrate every goal like we’ve just won the league.

Just don’t lose. That’s how I think going into every derby regardless of how shit they are.
Our last game was v Southampton and we went 16 points clear with Arsenal having 2 games in hand.
We knew Arsenal played 3 times before we played the bitters and the gap could be down to 7 points if they won all 3, with us having a game in hand.
They dropped points at Man U so at the very least we will be 9 points clear when we kick off.
Even if they beat Fulham and we draw with the blueshite we will have a gap of 10 points having played the same number of games and I’d have taken that after the Southampton game as it basically maintained the gap.
And all this assumes Arsenal beat Fulham, which is no formality. They drop points and we win then it’s as good as done.

The break has been ok so far. Looks like Alisson and Konate are ok and Gravenberch was withdrawn as a precaution.
Gakpo looks over his injury and Jota looked good tonight apparently.
If the South American lads all come through unscathed then we’re in good shape going into the last 9 games.

Based on my past Anfield record, this will be 4-1 to us. I guarantee it. If not, it’s too bad.

Our season hangs on Gasbag’s magic powers.

We’re doomed!
