Real was a great team effort, and of the starters I would say he had the weakest match. City, yes, definitely. But his pattern of late has been along the lines of someone in the forum posts ‘Salah barely in this game’, you look and he has barely had any touches, then he gets a good run and goal. Still a great scorer, but he used to dominate games.

Injuries starting to kill us like last season, it’d be a miracle if we were still top at christmas.
The performances especially against the lesser sides are just average.
We had 1 shot on target same as Fulham
We get out goal early in the second half and are winning the one

Fair enough. I felt he played very well in both games.
He’s a scouser. Prime age now and is a good player. Not sure how we see it, but I think I’d rather Kerkez who has a decade or more to go. The latter is already playing at a good Prem level, with more to come as he grows.

He’s normally very good. Local lad as well. But he’s had a torrid half defensively. If that shift was put in wearing out shirt the fans here would be demanding a replacement.
