Yeah, unfortunately I am not sure that Robbo can even sustain one game a week. Ideally, he gets rotated out to keep an average of 1 game every 10 days, and can continue to deliver at the top level at that pace. With no rotation, he has been having a difficult season and is hitting that stage of his career where he might have to think seriously about continuing international play.

We’re actually playing really well, and if we hadn’t had the red we’d be comfortable.
The inconsistency is maddening. The Diop one on Robbo was awful, and he was still obviously feeling that when he miscontrolled the ball. But the one down Gravenberch’s leg is the worst one. He literally looks down at Ryan’s calf before planting his studs in it. It’s an intentional violent act designed to hurt the player.

I think it is highly likely though…
Just look at Quansah…All he did was passing hospital balls during the first game week against Ipwich, got hooked at half time. He was never seen until he reappeared in the Man City match as a sub.
Robbo has shown signs of a visible decline and it culminated all at once today. His lack of pace currently failed to get enough of his body on Andreas Pereira’s shot to goal and failed to show Wilson down the line after his horrible first touch.
Slot doesn’t forgive mistakes like this very easily…

Totally. If you’ve taken a hit on your leg like they did to Andy, you know you don’t recover quickly.
It’s like lady luck is relentless with Andy.
For their goal, they get the deflection off his thigh that prevents Alisson from saving it.
And his defensive error that led to the red was likely due to the knock which slows you down, especially in fast duel situations.
Andy will recover fine.
